A good value spread of the classic breakfast options, with a few hit and miss international options. I particularly recommend the merguez sandwich(I think that’s what it was…) but would avoid the vegetarian meditteranian mixed platter. I did find the service to be a bit slow each time I was there, and the windows fog up really easily in the winter which just always makes me feel a bit uncomfortable because I have a deep fear of damp. But they have newspapers lying around for you to read during the wait, which is always nice, and they never seem to be too busy for you to find a seat. I do think it’s the best choice for breakfast in that upper London Road area, but if you’re willing to go down to more central Brighton there are several venues that I prefer over this one.
