This shop sells pretty much everything you could want to deck out a house with cool, quirky and random decorations and statues. A lot of the dragons, giraffes, skeletons and other assorted oddities they sell are amazingly reasonably priced. carvings I would expect to cost £95 have £25 price tags. There are also a number of rooms down in the basement and they sell a selection of interesting mirrors and treasure chest style strong boxes. If you like a more ethnic aesthetic you will certainly fall in love with this shop. The owner is a really nice lady and will do her best to help you find that perfect gift or decoration. Top marks!

Kissing Fish’s primary customer base seems to be students and hippies. Admittedly they don’t sell beer or pot, they do however sell all kinds of weird and wonderful home furnishings for incredibly cheap prices. We’re talking psychadelic canvases, mosaic yin and yang mirrors, intricate wooden stools and lanterns, strange sculptures of skulls and candles. All of them are priced around £10-£25 and are imported from Thailand, Bali and Indonesia direct from small businesses. The reason I think Kissing Fish is a stoner’s paradise, is it’s the only place in Brighton where you can pick up a hemp bracelet and a djembe drum and still have change from a twenty pound note!
