Kings Road Rock

Like Brighton’s Rock Shop a few doors away, Kings Road Rock stock a lot of the same treats as the Brighton Pier Rock Shop for much lower prices. Alongside classic sticks of rock with stripes and names running through them, you’ll find hilarious rock plates featuring bacon and egg and fish fingers and chips rock. They also sell boxes of fudge, toffee, candy floss and chocolate and for older friends and relatives, mugs and fridge magnets branded with photos of Brighton beach and various seaside landmarks.
If you’re on the search for any of the above, it’s worth checking out Kings Road Rock. Personally, I think the shop could do with a little TLC and fresh paint but hey, I congratulate them for managing to stay afloat in the current economic climate.

Before I used to live in Brighton, my nan used to buy loads of Brighton rock from this shop for me and my sister. Although we’ve both had some serious dental bills from a very early age, I can’t help popping in here and picking up the odd stick for mates birthdays etc.
They have a huge selection of the sickly sweet stuff in here in many colours and various messages running through the center of it.
