What a lovely place! Me and my partner had breakfast and it was the nicest food we have had in a long time. The food was freshly coked in front of us and presented well. I fully recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a nice tasty meal that’s well priced :)

I’ve been here a couple of times now, so it’s time that I wrote a review for Brighton’s second branch of Foodilic. Offering a different way of eating to the North Street branch, this Foodilic isn’t all you can eat. Instead, there are a few meat and vegetarian dishes, that you have with one or two vegetarian sides. The food here has always been of good quality, I daresay slightly better than the Foodilic on North Street. The portions are generous are done on weight I believe. It kind of reminds me of a poor man’s Ottolenghi’s, if you have ever been the Ottolenghi’s before. By no means at all do I mean that in a bad way! The food is good, it’s just a lot cheaper! I’ll probably eat here a little more often.

A second branch of Foodilic which has a slightly different atmosphere to the original. Rather than the«all you can eat» of the original, here you order your main at the counter and pick accompanying salads or you can opt for a salad plate. I was worried that as I was being served the food rather than piling my plate high I might be short changed, but not to worry the portions are very generous. The tables are not a great shape though, far too small for more than 2 diners!

I love this place. What can’t you love about cheap healthy food in a very clean and modern setting?! Nothing. That’s what. Loads of raw options Also have meat/fish and desserts though! I love the rice paper wraps, green bean and walnut salad with orange zest, mushrooms, mango with dill, strawberry salad with almond powder… Everything is so delish!!! Only complaints: — the servers didn’t know the food very well(might be because they are new) but the menu isn’t that difficult to understand considering I memorised the menu and options having looked at the board for 15 minutes — the bread roll(which my friend had) was very hard The only reason I gave it 4 stars was due to the fact I’ve been to places like Ottolenghi which seems to be a step up from this in terms of food, service and décor.
