Esso Service Station

This is the same place as reviewed as the Tesco Express — except this is the service station part. As service stations go, it’s very conveient — there are few in this area — and on one of the main roads into and out of brighton, so it is very popular.
Some quibbles: it’s really too small for the location, so queues form to get in, and then you may have to queue to pay behind someone with no vehicle but lots of groceries, which gets those waiting for the pumps a bit hot under the collar.
And it’s right on the junction, so the entrances and exits can get congested — and turning right out of here is a nightmare. That said, it is conveient, and the trick is to try to visit when it isn’t busy.
