Friendly staff and I enjoyed the treatment(gel manicure and pedicure) at the time, but the quality of the gel polish was extremely disappointing. I get gel nails a lot and have tried most of the main brands but this, their own brand, lasted very poorly — chipping in just over a week and leaving my nails so soft and weakened that most split and broke. This is certainly not what I have come to expect from gel nails and now I am left with horribly stubby nails.

The only reason they get 1 star is because there was no zero or less than zero boxes on here. Absolutely rubbish gel polish;it started to separate from the nails and broke off within a day! Staff are very rude and talk a lot of tripe within earshot of customers and when asked for a drink acted like they had just been asked to kill someone; lacked any manners and customer service was non existent especially the guy there whom obviously wasn’t very intelligent. What a waste of £45!NEVERAGAIN!

They took too many staff with no experience at all and the quality of the gel nail is too bad. The girl hardly had any experience and took twice long time I was late for work. Every time I went in there it has always been different person and who just started 1 week or so. Not going back there. Service is bad not organised at all. It always different price when I went back.

Disappointing. The salon looks very shabby and the lighting is really harsh and un-relaxing. I paid £20 for a basic non gel mani which is WAY too much if you ask me. The staff weren’t rude but they weren’t nice either and my nails chipped half an hour after leaving. The whole experience was grim and I’m upset as I work really hard for my money and just shelled out 3hrs pay for something that was meant to be fun relaxing and pampering but instead was unpleasant.

I had booked an appointment the day before my birthday for a treat. Unfortunately I did not get to have any treatment because my appointment was cancelled with only 2 hours notice, despite having booked three weeks in advance, due to double booking. An alternative appointment the following day was offered(with no offer of any compensatory discount for the very short notice cancellation), but I was unable to make this. Strangely, the caller seemed to argue with me about this — as if I was being unreasonable by not accepting an appointment at a completely different date and time! After pointing out that my appointment was made weeks ago they said they would try to cancel the other person instead. I was then called back and told the appointment was on after all. However, shortly afterwards I was called again(now only 30 mins before appointment) to be told in a rather rude manner the other customer ‘could not be moved’. Why I apparently could be moved and they couldn’t was unclear — evidently I am less important! I asked why I had been called just minutes before and given the go ahead — initially I was told rather rudely(by Daisy I believe) «Well I have your update now, and it’s not possible». She then said she would look into moving other customers around instead and call me back. Finally, I received a third phone call from another member of staff who at least was more apologetic, but told me it was not possible to move anything around(except, apparently, me…). Strangely he gave a different story regarding the reason for the cancellation, about running late rather than double booking. If this is the case this seems extraordinarily disorganised, they shouldn’t offer evening appointments if they can’t honour them. Whether this story was true, or whether they simply bumped me for a customer they judged to me more important is unclear. Either way, it is both rude and unprofessional to waste a new customer’s time in this manner, and I will certainly not be returning.

I came to Daisy’s using a Groupon voucher that offered an affordable price for a mani/pedi. For just £10 extra, you can choose an OPI Gel Nail Varnish for both hands and feet. Who can resist that when prices out there are at least £50 + for this! I was treated by Daisy herself, the owner of the business. She was sweet, down to earth and friendly. Even offered a fantastic coffee to enjoy during my visit! She was quick, efficient and did a great job on my nails. Prices are affordable here and would definitely come back.
