The cash and carry is a great place to buy big and buy cheap. The one drawback to the great deals you can get here is that you have to have a card to be able to buy from them. I used to go down here a lot when I had my kitchen franchise and save a fortune of everything from baked beans to a new TV. It’s well worth trying to get friendly with someone who has a card as you can really save a lot of money by shopping here. It basically is a big warehouse with isle upon isles of merchandise. Cool, but sadly a bit exclusive to those in the catering trade.

Well, what to say about a cash and carry? It’s a massive warehouse full of stuff and great fun to parade around, putting things on your trolley. I buy things here for a bar and a café, and I must say it would be more fun to go with someone else, so I would then have an accomplice with whom to appreciate all the deals and the cool stuff they have. Even now it sends a thrill up my spine seeing a massive container of sweets or eight Theakstons Old Peculiar ales at a knockdown price. The staff here have always been really helpful, since there often tends to be an item which I am unable to find. Just remember to factor in VAT when you are buying non-food items!
