Bagels de diversos sabores e combinações de recheios. São bem gostosas! Vale a pena também pedir para levar na loja da estação de trem.

If you’re gluten free, you MUST eat here. They’re amazing. The second you ask for a gluten free sandwich they ask if you want it made separately. And they go all out when you say yes. Separate surfaces, new knives, even using mayo from the fridge to reduce the risk of cross contamination. Bagelman is an undisputed go to for me. I just feel so safe getting food from here. The only downside is that the gluten free option isn’t ACTUALLY a bagel, but it’s still really yummy, so I will let it slide.

I like Bagelman a lot! They’ve got it just right, I’d say. The bagels are fresh and delicious, filled with pretty much whatever you fancy, the service is fast and friendly and the prices are low! You can be healthy or naughty in here — with veggie options or bacon-filled breakfast bagels to make you smile in the morning — which is always a great thing in any food place! They work as most sandwich take-aways do these days, using a system whereby you pick your bagel first, then your fillings, selecting from a vast array of fresh and tasty ingredients. Some of their bagels are less than £3 which, considering the size of them especially, is a real bargain! They also offer drinks and snacky things to go along with your bagel, as you’d expect. There are a few seats inside, though not many, for people wanting to stay in and eat there, but otherwise this place is rather small and simple. There’s nothing fancy or especially mind-blowing about Bagelman — it’s just a really solid, friendly place serving consistently tasty bagels! If you want a great bagel, come here! You’ll be very happy that you did!

I love bagelman! Great value and great taste. There is a wide variety of fillings and different types of bagels. It really is great quality fast food! There is usually a line but it moves very quickly. The staff are always friendly as well. Great for a quick lunch!

Bagelman — marry me! That’s how much I love you! Many a time your Reuben(pastrami, pickles, tomatoes and mustard) has saved me from despair/overwork/acute hunger/hangover — and sometimes all 3! The potential combination of fillings here is almost endless, so there literally is something to satisfy every palate. Plenty for veggies too — very important in a town like Brighton! — and a choice of bagels themselves. Very reasonably priced, excellent location and very friendly staff. Feel free — have an affair with my beau!

It’s bagel madness. Bagel insanity even. There is more choice here than should ever be legal & I’m lovin’ the freshness & the value for money. They’ve a modest eat-in area but take away is the thing. I thoroughly enjoyed my trudge up Bond Street depositing felafel all down my shirt and trousers and occasionally getting some in my mouth. Excellent. The perfect take away!

In Canada, there’s this franchise called«Tim Hortons». In my opinion, their coffee is a bit to weak and a little too sweet. But their bagels on the other hand are delicious. My best bagel eating experience came from eating a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese from Tim Hortons. It was a divine experience. Well, that experience has been surpassed by the bagel eating experience I had at Bagelman. When I first took a bite out of my bagel, I was astonished. It was so tasty. After my first bite, I looked around the shop in amazement. «Can the bagel I’m eating really be this good?» I thought to myself. I took another bite. It was just as delicious as the first. This was repeated for the third, fourth, fifth and sixth bites… all delicious. Then my bagel was gone, and I was disappointed. There is just so much to choose from, you can eat-in and eat-out, it’s cheap, and it’s delicious.

The original Bagelman and for my money the best bagel shop in the city. Freshly made on the premises dough melts on your tongue, the aftertaste lingering long into your next meal. The staff are always friendly and there’s a voucher reward system; some resourceful paupers took it on themselves to pause from the counter-fitting of Velasquez and El Grecos to conjour up fake stamps in the loyalty booklets. Be warned — there’s a colour scheme now. The salt beef is the signature dish of the sister Bagelman in Hove, this one does everything from Club Bagel to the Ruben — pastrami and melted Swiss cheese! Don’t you just love picking the sesame seeds out of your teeth?

I love a good bagel! They serve the best in here for many a mile around! It does get pretty busy around lunch times and breakfast but the lines go pretty fast and when the bagels taste this good, I’d wait a lot longer! There’s plenty to choose from, the bacon, egg and tomoato is great for brunch time but for lunch, try an onion bagel with smoked salmon and advocado and you won’t be disappointed!

Bagelman is Brighton take on the world famous New York bagel. There are three of them spread across Brighton, all with both a sit down and take away service available. I was not a big bagel fan before I came to Brighton, but I spent my first year absolutely addicted to this café’s offerings. The menu is extremely broad; allowing you to pick from the recommended classics, daily specials or just to make one of your choosing. You can also get fresh soup or an omelette if you’re not sure about a bagel. At about half the price of their Subway equivalent(and about twice as good), Bagelman is a great lunchtime choice. You can get a BLT bagel for £2.20, that’s almost cheap enough to make two seem unquestionable.

Let’s be honest, the best place to get bagels is New York. I’ve eaten bagels in different bagel stores and delis in Brooklyn, Greenwich Village and Little Italy and every single one tasted lip-smackingly good. Unfortunately, none of those bakers want to relocate to Brighton — which leaves us with Bagelman. A tiny store with a handful of stools in the North Lanes, it serves a variety of hot and cold bagels. You can make your own from £1.50-£3.50, try one of the hot tuna, sausage or meat melts for or opt for one of the specials like cream and cheese and salmon or chicken, bacon and avacado. You won’t find a bagel layered with sizzling salt beef though. For that, my friends, you’ll have to hop over the pond…

Bagelman products are stocked in some of the union shops at the University of Sussex, so even before I knew this company operated a shop in Brighton town retailing their fab products, I knew I loved them. Finding said store, only made that love grow stronger. The bagels made here are immense. They taste great, they’re cheap, and the service is friendly and fast. There’s a whole plethora of different flavoured bagels available, on a variety of different bread bases, so you should be able to find something to satisfy your needs. If not, you can just build your own bagel from scratch, and then watch your wonderful creation come to life before your eyes.

I love bagels and often go to Bagelman as a treat. They sell several types of giant soft bagels– cinnamon raisin, onion, poppy seed, plain and sesame seed. My favorite is the sesame seed– I used to wander down and buy a bag of four on weekends for a couple of pounds, until I realised I was eating four bagels in two days on my own. I usually have a toasted sesame with cream cheese– they have great cream cheese and put on just the right amount to make a luxurious bagel but without overloading it– avocado, salt and pepper. They have a large range of fresh fillings but I find it hard to steer away from my favorite combination(which costs me about £3).

If you enjoy bagels at all then you must try this place. They make fresh bagel sandwiches that are to die for. I never seemed to stray from the lux deluxe, though there were many options that I wished I could have tried. You may encounter a line but not to worry, it usually moves pretty quick
