Set amongst a parade of shops just off Tong St. The staff are really friendly especially when they get to know you a little bit. Not top quality second hand stuff but have had some good bargains from here and I take all our ‘unloved’ stuff here too. Very reasonably priced goods. The staff always seem busy but happy. I have been in here when they were making coffee and got one too. I have been in with my daughter and we both got choccies out of an Advent calendar. I was amazed when a little lad popped in by himself, played with some toys and then went again. They are happy enough with this arrangement. This is how a charity shop should be.

The shop has a nice variety of items, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other charity shops — definitely good value. However, I feel there’s room for improvement in customer service. It would be great if staff could be a bit more proactive in guiding or assisting customers when they seem unsure, or help direct them to where items can be found. A little more engagement and friendliness would make the shopping experience even better.
