Prune Park

Oh dear not the best. We had booked for 7pm and was shown to our table straight away. We ordered our meal and was told there would be a 30 minute wait. After an hour (I don’t mind waiting if the place is busy, it wasn’t) the starter finally came, My husband had chosen not to have a starter so after another 30 minute wait was really ready for his meal. We had both ordered sauces with our meals and my sauce was on my husbands meal and his was missing. When tasting the sauce it was inedible. The waitress who, by the way was excellent said she would get it changed straight away. 5 minutes waiting with our food going cold on the table in front of us, both the sauces arrived. Mine was no better, warm milk with a glass of wine in it, I just couldn’t eat it. My husband without tasting his covered his meal. Big mistake. By this time I suggested we just get up and leave (something I have never done) but we decided to eat what we could. When the waitress came to ask how the meal was we said not too great, she discounted 1 of the meals and offered puddings but we just wanted to go. I would give the waitress 10 out of 10 for her service but the food 0 out of 10. Will not be returning.
