DNA is on the busy route down into town. If you’re visiting bournemouth, then you’re likely to be walking past this place on your way to have a good night out. I’d probably say keep walking. Dont get me wrong, when DNA opened, it was a breath of fresh air to the top of the road, and money has been well sent on the décor and finish. It is pricey, and it can sometimes seem like there is a lot of attitude in there when busy. Staff are always professional, although they are nearly always being watched by one of the owners!

The only place in town that plays decent Dancehall and Reggae from time to time(not so often recently though). Great lunch time Caribbean buffet. The biggest thing that lets DNA down is the moody atmosphere that congregates here every weekend. Drinks prices keep the students away(sometimes a good thing), but also mean that a lot of regulars don’t even drink when they come here. Nice for an occasional change of scene — but hard to spend a whole night here.
