I’m really confused by the presence of Norton Barrie in Bolton. In every other way, Bolton is full of bog standard shops. But Norton Barrie is kind of almost, well, designer.
That doesn’t mean that I think the clobber in here looks good. Everything’s a bit nautical for me. Yes you heard, nautical.
If you bought clothes from Norton Barrie you’d kind of just look like a trendy sailor. Which isn’t really how I would choose to look.
This is a tidy, well laid out shop with friendly staff. Just a bit too naval-​influenced.
