Barnardo’s

Though no way near as cool as the Barnardo’s on Manchester’s Deansgate, this Barnardo’s still cool just because it’s Barnardo’s. It’s a great charity that has been supporting kids in need for donkeys years. Who can’t get behind that?
This shop is clean, tidy and well laid out, with lots of books that your mum probably already has, and plenty of clothes that might be of use to you in some odd way. I.e., you want to go to a fancy dress party as a geek from the 50s. Barnardo’s will almost certainly have the faded suit, shirt and tie to help you achieve that look. Now you just need some NHS frames without the lenses and you’re sorted.
They also have gift cards in here. Better than getting one from Clinton’s, yes?
