This has recently been refurbished and it looks a lot better.
It’s not a small station nor is it too big. There are 4 different platforms, 2 lifts and indoor seating areas. You can store your bicycle here or rent one out for the day.
Some of the walls have been made up by local people with different designs on them.

Blackburn Station has the appearance of having been recently refurbished — and if it has been, they’ve done a good job. The station is bright, clean (or at least, it has been in my experience), and the platforms are easily accessible. The station enjoys an ideal location right in the middle of Blackburn; the cathedral and shopping centres are both within very easy reach. The public address announcements could, perhaps, be a little clearer, but all in all I’ve no complaints about the place.
