We spent one night at the Bantam Team Room B&B and it was delightful. The host welcomed us and showed us to our rooms in the back of a historic tea room. We had rented 2 rooms for myself and husband and my husband’s parents. We were surprised to find out that we had the whole place to ourselves — so we were able to use all of the shared space and use the place as if it was an entire home for us. The rooms are cute and are decorated with charm. Everything was very clean. The location cannot be beat — right in the middle of the high street in Chipping Campden. There is a private parking lot in the back of the Tea Room as well. Breakfast was also great. The couple that owns it prepares everything themselves(bakes the breads, makes the jams, etc…). You can even buy their homemade jams and chutneys! Overall, I’d highly recommend the Bantam Tea Rooms. For the price and location — it was perfect!

My wife and I had a great time in Chipping Campden, and this stop made it even better. The cream tea service was very good and the coffee walnut cake equally as nice. Scones and clotted cream were the best we had while we were in the Cotswolds. Staff were friendly enough.

Have only stopped here for tea and coffee with a light cake/toasted tea-cake which were fine. The problem lies with the service which is ‘standard laid-back English’ — they don’t seem very worried about serving you, which they probably aren’t as they must be over-run during the high season in this popular tourist spot. Would be nice to be greeted with enthusiasm though…
