The title pretty much sums up this place: ‘Tasty Pizza’ and indeed they do serve tasty pizzas! This is a great little take away pizza place. I do think that pizzas can be done badly and there are a few bad ones that I have had in Birmingham, but this place is not one of them. Inside it is like any other take away store, although there are a few tables if you fancy sitting inside. I never do as I usually want to get home. They also do delivery if cannot be bothered to leave the warm comfort of your home. The staff are fairly pleasant and have always made small talk with me when I have been in and I have never had to wait too long for my food to be ready. The prices are quite cheap too, which is a bonus. Overall, I think that this is a cracking fast food take away!

Some businesses seek to create a memorable brand when they first choose their name. Some look to slyly reference more established businesses in the hope of gaining some of their custom. Some just say what they sell in their name. I’m not going to tell you which category that ‘Tasty Pizza’ falls into, but I think you’ll be able to figure it out. One of the many extremely similar takeaways(that I like to call ‘kit built’ as their signage etc is always remarkably homogenous), Tasty Pizza holds several advantages over its rivals in the local area, including that it’s most definitely open during the day(many sort of maybe look like they could be, but I can never be sure), and it has a couple of tables to sit at, unlike many others. The food is fairly standard takeaway food(I can confirm that the pizza is officially tasty), and, like many of its competitors, a claim of ‘free delivery’ is offset by the fact that pizzas are half the price if you go and collect(£7 for a standard, plain pizza on delivery becomes £3.50, etc.). Good if you’re wandering past and fancy a bite, but there are alternatives that do free delivery without the price hike if you’re looking to get food delivered.
