went once a while back. would NEVER go back.
Awfull reheated food. So many better indian restaurants around and this place should close their doors and allow someone else to try!

Six of us chanced upon the place as we were trying to find a place that served Halal food. They met that criteria.
There were 6 people in the restaurant, and when they left there were us 6 left. :-)
Some found it quite a cold place as the door downstairs was left open, and the evening was quite chilly.
My Muslim friend and I had the same starter: Mixed Starters. He said they were tasteless, and I said they were very dry. My friend assured me that the lamb kebab would be cooked fresh, but the chicken was overcooked, lukewarm, and very dry. The onion bharjees wre just awful.
I have the chicken Jalfrezi. Now this I liked. The sauce was different from what I have experienced with this dish in the past, but I did like the flavour. The spice heat was just right for me too. I like a hotish curry, and this hit the mark. I had it with vegetable pilau rice. Everyone else was happy with their mains.
I had large bottles of Cobra; there wasn’t any draught. Nicely chilled.
I can’t say I’d rush back there again, but the staff were very attentive, and up for a joke or two. Very friendly.
I do wonder how places like that survive, with so few people in the place mid-​week. Given that the town centre was absolutely packed.
