Select & Save

Select & Save is the convenience store that I use pretty much every day. They are well stocked and they have a good range of products. One of my favourite magazines to read is called AdBusters and this is the only shop I can find it in. I tried WHSmiths and other major retailers and they never have a copy. So I just buy mine from Select & Save every time.
They also have great offers on milk and bread and various other food stuffs. I like jelly and usually buy three pots from here for a Pound. They sell pretty much everything that you can buy in s supermarket that isn’t a specialty item. The prices are competitive and are a lot cheaper than what you would expect from an independently owned business.
Select & Save also have great offers on alcohol and has become very popular with local drinkers in the area.
It is not open 24 hours, something that Moseley is desperately lacking, but it does stay open pretty late.
They also have a pay point machine for filling up gas/​electric cards and topping up your mobile phone account.
There is sometimes a big queue in the shop and the owner can be a little slow and clumsy, but that’s not his fault. I never usually have to wait too long for service.

This is a great convenience store where you can pick up some good bargains especially on cans of drinks like pepsis and other drinks and beverages. They have isles of lovely recipes too which you can take home and make with ease for a night in. Staff seem to know their products too so are helpful.
