Fabulous family run jewelers. I wouldn’t want go anywhere else! We had my Engagement ring and our Wedding rings from Paul Green. My Fiancé designed his own ring which was no challenge for Paul. The width and style of my rings matched perfectly and all three rings came out beautiful and a comfortable fit too.
I later lost an earing and Paul was happy to turn the other one into a bespoke pendant for me. His advice and recommendations are second to none and he will always try to cater for any budget and quote a reasonably affordable price.

Located in the heart of Birmingham’s bustling Jewellery Quarter, Paul Green Jewellers is a diamond and ring (and, by default, diamond ring) specialist. Now, as you’d have probably gathered, such establishments are as common as muck (or gold and silver) in the area, but Paul Green stands out, partly due to its attractive façade, which manages to be bright and eye catching without crossing that most dreaded of lines into gaudiness, which would be a real kiss of death in such a competitive area. There seem to be two main types of jewellers in the Jewellery Quarter — ones that go for the minimalist style with the emphasis on luxury, and those that go for a slightly less glitzy route, looking to come across as independently run and homely, and it’s the latter category which Paul Green definitely falls into. The shop is small, but manages to feel intimate rather than claustrophobic, thanks in no small part to the friendly, welcoming staff. As for prices, Paul Green is most certainly competitive, although as you’re probably going there with a very specific idea about what it is you’re looking for, the most helpful thing I can do is tell you to shop around. As a bonus, Paul Green is virtually the only jeweller in the area open on Sundays, so if you happen to be passing through and need a jeweller there and then, don’t despair at the number of closed shops.

Within the last 6 months, I have purchased a 1ct (plus) diamond platinum ring, a pair of diamond earrings 40pts set in 18 ct white gold and a diamond pendant 28pts, also set in 18ct white gold. All of my purchases are graded F in colour and clarity ranges from SI to VS1 & VS2. I am really pleased with all of my purchases, what I like about this family jewellers is that there is no hard sell and they always try to accommodate within your budget. I have spent a lot of time researching various jewellers on the internet and made personal visits to the Jewellery Quarter, Hockley. I hope to be visiting Paul Green in the future for items of jewellery for special occasions. Excellent service and well done !

If you are needing to buy any jewellry, be it a small gift or a beautiful gem piece, Paul Green is well worth a visit to. He will find you something in his Aladins Cave to suit every budget. He even has some second hand pieces, and will also do repairs and re setting. He also makes up pieces to your own design. I wouldnt go any where else for jewellry after visiting here on many occasions.
