One Stop

Based on Colmore Row and within 2 minutes of walking distance from Snow Hill, this is a conveniently located small shop opposite all the bus stops.
If you have just missed your bus, like I did, I called in here to get a quick snack. They have a huge selection of everything, from every type of chocolate bar that you can imagine, sweets, boiled sweets and dips, magazines, papers, drinks, snacks, ice creams and cigarettes.
Although I was only after a Twix, it’s surprising just how much they sell. You do feel your being watched closely, and I understand why they do this, I have never stolen and felt very uncomfortable at how they perceive you, before you’ve bought anything. I was toying with the idea of grabbing a magazine, but because of how they made me feel when I was only picking up a chocolate bar, I just paid and left. The customer service was poor.
The shop is close to all the business’s, big and small, banks, accountants etc, based near Colmore Row, and if they treat all their customers like this, people will just head into the Tesco or Sainsbury’s down the road, and not bother supporting their local retailer. Clean your act up!
