Jamaican cusine continues to grow throughout England becoming more and more popular across the country. Northfield in particular seem to have had many attempts at creating the Jamaican essence and flavour in their food. Many local pubs and restaurants have tried and failed to make a Jamaican kicthen suceed. Jam-Eng has combined both English food and Jamaican food under one roof, you can eat in this restaurant and have the choice of two types of food depending on one’s preference. Many opt for the Jamaican spice as they seem to have mastered it here, with it oozing the Caribbean flavours. The hint of scotch bonnets in a well portioned curry goat had my mouth in heaven. I could rest assured that the hygiene here was more than adequate too, as Birmingham City Council rated their hygiene at a five out of five. Well I rate this place as a whole as four out of five.
