I remember going to Gohil’s from a young age and being in awe as soon as I entered the shop at the vast range of Indian handicrafts, religious ornaments and decorations that cover virtually every available space in the shop. It’s a mix of all things unique to Indian culture — music, hymns, religious statues and portraits, traditional crockery and decorations. So if you’re hosting a religious ceremony or wedding, then it’s definitely worth visiting Gohil’s. They are a little on the pricey side but what you find here is rare in Birmingham. Some of their artefacts, like brass animal statues, are impressively crafted and designed. The shop is located on the busy Stratford Road so the best place for parking is Beach Road. But it tends to get very busy around here on the weekends so try going during the week if possible.
