Visited here with my two daughters on a very busy half term day. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, including providing us all with plastic giraffes to go into our drinks.
The menu features a good range of dishes from around the world all at a reasonable price. The selection for kids wasn’t too extensive, but we were able find something to satisfy their varying appetites.

I am always impressed when a busy restaurant allows you to take a table just for having a coffee, our waiter at giraffe was more than happy to do just that.
Given that the start of our experience was so good our coffees then took so long to come that we forgot we had ordered them! When the drinks did get to our table they were thankfully well made and presented nicely.
With a beautiful setting in Birmingham’s newest development grand central you would expect the service to be spot on. As accommodating as the staff are the service is very slow… don’t come here for a take away option or if you are in any kind of rush!
