This store was a bit of a let down to be honest.
The service was poor, the advisor struggled with his English and the shop décor has seen better days.
It does look quite small from the outside, however once inside, the actual floor is quite big. Rolls and rolls of material is stocked high and piled on top of each other like a factory. It’s a shame as they did have some nice material, from silks, embroidery, cottons, furnishings for furniture, curtains and nets etc, but when they’re stacked so close, you can’t view half the material which is a shame. You feel a lot of the rolls have been sitting there for years just gathering dust, and surely they must be able to better arrange their stock, and make it more customer friendly.
£28 a yard for silk! Me thinks not. Considering that there are some very good competitors up the road, I would give this one a miss and not bother.
