Always have a lovely experience here, the staff are all talkative and friendly and for some reason compared to other Costa stores EVERYTHING tastes better at this particular store. My local Costa is 3 miles away from me but I usually hop on the bus and make the 8 mile journey just to visit this store.
It’s always clean, staff always cleaning tables and work area and no matter what time of year it’s by far one of the coziest places to spend a morning or afternoon.
Also on a further note congratulations to the assistant manager, who won assistant manager of the year award she deserves it! :-D

Terrible. Dirtiest coffee shop in the world, got both my drink and food orders wrong, overcharged me and to top it off my cake was stale. Only positive was that the girl who served me was appologetic when I pointed out the error and refunded the whole item rather than just the amount over.

Excellent example of the chain, always a good slug of strong coffee taste to satisfy caffeine requirements.
Chuck in outside tables (if you can get one) interacting with bustling New Street and people watch ’till the sun goes down (or they take the seats away).
Always friendly staff and reasonably light inside — not to gloomy like some can be.
Recommended (especially if you’ve just got off the train at New Street and want to catch your bearings above ground in the cheerful and vibrant city centre hullabaloo).
