I blinkin’ LOVE noodles. For me, they’ve got to be the thick style Udon served spicy and hot. Preferably in a «Chinese takeaway» style box(you know the type I mean). And that’s why I’m a fan of Chop & Wok. This little chain has gone from strength to strength over the years in Birmingham. From humble beginnings of just one shop in the City Centre, there are now multiple venues(including two in the City) and they have even now expanded to include a shop in London amongst their number. You can also now order online, meaning you can pre-order and pop down and collect. I also believe they do deliveries(within a certain radius), meaning piping hot noodley goodness can now be delivered to your door too! I really like the selection of sauces that are on offer here… You can go for something really hot and spicy or something more tame(if that’s what you prefer). You can also personalise your dish to include your meat/veggies of choice to ensure you have the dish you are craving. Queues can get pretty long here, especially at lunchtimes, so ordering ahead is recommended. Just as a quick note, a preorder/check in gets you money off your order too — so make sure you check your app to save some cash! The one downside to these stores in the cost. It can be a bit pricey as an everyday lunch, but its the kind of place I head to for a payday lunch treat. I haven’t tried the wraps or salads here, but I’m sure I will one day and update my review. In the meantime, check it out and see what you think.

The Chop and Wok situated on Canon Street is my preferred Chop and Wok franchise as it’s in central Birmingham and is easily accessible to members of the public. This Chop and Wok also provides a wider seating area and an additional upstairs as opposed to the Chop and Wok franchise on Suffolk Street. The only negativity aspect I could say about this Chop and Wok franchise is that it doesn’t stay open as late as the franchise on Suffolk Street, which can be frustrating after a night out and you’re in central Birmingham. I find that that members of staff are a lot friendlier at the Suffolk Street franchise in comparison to the other city centre Chop and Wok. Overall, these two franchises has an even amount of pros and cons therefore it doesn’t really matter which Chop and Wok you go to, as long as you go to at least one otherwise you’re missing out on a very tasty meal!
