Ummm the service is fast, staff are nice and the place is lovely, but that all doesn’t matter if the food and coffee taste bad. I have given this place three shots(i tried three different places) and it disappointed me when it comes to sweets. For some reason, their sweets are always old and not fresh! I tried their chocolate muffin, red velvet, and millionaire caramel thing. The coffee also is often cold. On the bright side, I tried their sandwiches and I have to admit they are yummy. In addition, their prices are slightly cheaper than Costa and Starbucks which’s a good thing!

If you like mahogany you are in for a treat! This is a large coffee house in which will soon look out on passing trams(Metro) Polite staff and nice hot chocolate cannot help me shake the feeling of being in a large chain. I could be anywhere or everywhere. It was pretty quiet for a Monday afternoon with a lack of bustle that I’d associate a coffee house with. Does the job however and kept me warm for half an hour.

Good Points It’s really reasonable, and the atmosphere is lively. Bad Points The wireless service is extremely unreliable. You enter the shop and you never know if it’s available. It’s so different from Starbucks because it’s very often cut off, and the staff have no idea about it. General Comments Café Nero has a lively atmosphere, but it doesn’t appear to be very clean. You often find used dishes left for too long. The toilets aren’t very clean either. Most importantly, if you are on some business and you need to use the wireless internet service, NEVER expect it to work well. I have had so much messing and have had to go opposite to Starbucks. It also has a large seating area and a loyalty card giving you your tenth coffe free. I love the hot chocolate they serve though! YUM!
