Boots Optician

I had an eye test done here about two years ago when I joined the health club and received a voucher for a free eye test. I was impressed with the optician who was warm and friendly and did a thorough eye exam and was honest enough to tell me that although my prescription had changed slightly it did not warrant me purchasing a new pair of glasses if I wanted to wait another year and get an eye test done again to see if I needed new glasses rather that waiting 2 years. The staff outside showed me some styles that would suit my face and if I wanted to buy a pair of glasses I would have got some that day as I was also offered an additional 10% off, she stamped the voucher to make it valid for a week in case I changed my mind and wanted to get some glasses a few days later. I have not returned to the opticians but that is more to do with wanting to visit ones closer to home as the experience was a good one.

Friendly opticians and staff, carried out a very thorough eye test. Do try and make you buy their specs but you don’t have to (they are way overpriced!)
