Grange West lighting is an independent lighting and home decorating shop in Birkenhead. They sell just about everything you can think of that’s electric light related – lamps and lamp shades, chandeliers, etc.
I also noticed that they sell some home décor items like figurines. I guess a lot of home lighting shops do this to try to sang a few impulse buys from people who come in to buy the lights, but I generally think the items they choose are a bit gaudy.
Still, reasonable prices, and as always it’s a great idea to support small, local businesses.

My obsession for all things home décor is getting a bit out of hand, and this store is just feeding my addiction!
With a great range of lamps and fittings to suit any home and create great ambiance, Grange West truly does cater to all lighting needs. Prices are also delightfully reasonable. I purchased a glitzy chandelier (so tacky it’s practically classy, or so I like to think) and it was an absolute bargain, especially as G.W.L often hold sales.
I’m sold on this place. Friendly service and advice and a great range of products. I’ll be heading there again when I need a new lamp!
