The Rose

The rose is the only real pub in the broadway others try and fail great food guest ales weekly & some of the best bar staff I’ve ever come across + as it over 21 only it keeps the a/​holes out

The Rose is one of Bexleyheath’s unsung havens. If you’re not into the bustling, boisterous bars at the top end of the Broadway then this is the place to come.
It’s small and has a loyal following of regulars who in my experience keep themselves to themselves. There’s a lively atmosphere, one of relaxation and general contentment which makes you feel quite settled as soon as you’ve sat down. It is possible to hold a conversation here too which is a massive plus when compared to other places in the immediate area. Luckily this pub often seems invisible to folk who aim to go out and get as hammered as they can meaning it is normally an idiot free zone.
The bar staff are friendly and service time is more than satisfactory no matter how busy it is. The only thing I can’t believe about this pub is that I walked past it so many times before actually giving it a go.
In the evening parking is available in the pay and display opposite the bowling alley which is about 2 minutes walk around the corner from the pub.
