The Goat is a friendly intimate pub with a small garden and car park. The good thing about the place really is the frequency with which they have live music. Most weekends and sometimes in the week there are a wide range of styles to choose from, and the bands are mostly good. They don’t charge for entrance on band nights either (although they do add a 30p per drink music surcharge). The toilets are small but usually clean enough. The staff are friendly if not the fastest moving people available! The drink prices are fairly standard for the area, but it can seem pricey when the bands are on.
