There are times when you need to spruce up and get some decent quality clothes, perhaps if you’ve got interviews coming up, or just need something new and crisp in the wardrobe to offset those timeworn garments. I knew this time has come when I walked into Lewin’s and saw an offer on three women’s shirts for about £25 each. Not cheap if you are used to shopping in H&M, but I’m confident these shirts won’t melt under a hot iron and that they will still be wearing well in a year or two. Mainly Lewin’s is a shop for men’s shirts, ties and cufflinks but it has its uses for women, offering shirts, jackets and coats. The staff are really nice too and make you feel like a privileged member of society rather than a sales obsessed scruff, which is commendable in an upmarket shop like this.

This is a great shop I think. I just wish I had more need to go here, or even a job that meant I could justify spending so much coin on shirts and ties. You can get all sorts of top quality stuff in here. Shirts, ties, mens and women’s clothes and cufflinks. This is all top quality clothing and you won’t like it in here if you shop in Primark. You will probably look at the stuff and think why you would spend £60 on a shirt when you can get ‘the same thing’ for £5 in Primark. If you think like that this place isn’t for you, but if you like to spend a bit of extra dollar on your clobber then you can’t go bad wih this place. The staff are extremely helpful and well informed. They can sort you out with the right shirt cuts and ties for any occassion. Also, they have a great website.
