We only used to go to this mechanics because it was around the corner from where my Mum lived and it meant that you could leave your car around first thing in the morning to get worked on, and walk around to the house without much hassle. He is always busy, which is probably a testament to his quality of service and his reasonable prices — mechanics are never cheap, but they can sometimes totally take advantage and Tommy doesn’t do that — he will give you an honest idea of what is required to get your sick motor on the road again, and will even try and give you options according to what you can afford. He has a lot of space to keep the cars lined up ready for their service, and his premises are secure and safe, locked up tight at night so there are no worries if your car is left overnight.
