Hollywood Nails

I must say I’ve been in here afew times and I’ve always found the service great! The girls are always really friendly and the quality of service is fab! I’ve had manicures here before and they’ve been a top notch job.
They always have really great offers on like get one set of nails and another free which, if you get yours infilled every two weeks is a great bargain!
The prices are great and very competitive and the general feel is of luxury and calm. A real wee treat!

I am, by no means at all, the sort who shrieks and fusses over the state of their nails (my own natural nails grow pretty well, thanks very much) but on the odd occasion (like weddings, fancy do’s) then I am tempted to splash a bit of cash and go and get my nails done.
I’ve made this mistake here once. PLEASE DO NOT DO THE SAME!
I thought, well, I can either splash a lot of cash (i.e. £35++ to get someone to throw a bit of colour on your nails) or go for the cheap and cheerful option (£10 for air brush manicure /​pedicure) which will leave me more money to spend on the blushing bride (or at least at her wedding!)
So cheap and cheerful it was. BIG MISTAKE.
The next day I went to get my hair done and the manicure had already worn off. Talk about disappointed. The girl in the shop had reassured me it would last at the very least two days. Mmm Hmm… Won’t believe that again.
So, when they say you learn from your mistakes, please, learn from mine. Spend a bit of time, effort and money if you’re after a quality, long lasting job. They looked good at the time, for about 12 hours after, but wash your hands once, and see ya, bye bye nails.
