Cool, fragrant and dark and inside Ferguson flowers has an impressive array of formal, classical flower arrangement in the shop. There are also some huge, artificial flowers and outside various pot plants, pansies etc.
The display is a sample of a much wider range, for this is not really a small local florist’s business as such. This particular Ferguson Flowers on the Cregagh Road is part of a larger chain under the Interflora group which supplies flowers to order for any suitable occasion which delivers to Belfast and surrounding towns of Lisburn, Carrickfergus, Holywood, Newtownards and similar distances.

There are a few branches of this flower shop across Northern Ireland and they work in conjuction with Interflora, so they’ve definitely moved up in the world since they first started helping the citizens of NI celebrate thier landmark life events with flowers. I always remember every year during the run up to my Mum and Dad’s wedding anniversary, I would quietly whisper in my Dad’s ear and he would hurriedly run down to the local Ferguson’s to get the much needed bouquet delivered to my Mum — well, it’s the thought that counts isn’t it? Even though it wasn’t his? Poor Dad, he does try. Anyway, Fergusons are always helpful, courteous and their deliveries are always on time and to the correct place, well they have been in my experience, anyway. I would definitely recommend them if you need to send flowers to anyone in your life.
