Nice enough café/bistro, we went for dinner although when looking at the menu this is more of a breakfast & lunch place. The food was good although personally I wasn’t keen on the coleslaw as it wasn’t fine shred which is my personal preference. The staff were polite and friendly, we didn’t need to wait to long for our food. There wasn’t much of an atmosphere and the décor was a little shabby also there were a lot of flies, they could have had florescent strip or light. Overall experience not bad.

I saw that this café had opened quite recently and had been meaning to try it for a while, so tonight we finally got to. The bistro is generally for breakfast /brunch /lunch, but during the summer months it is staying open right until 9pm so you can order anything from the menu even for dinner. It also serves ice-cream, desserts, traybakes and so on. Tonight we stopped by for some dinner while we were out and about. We were served quickly and the staff member was polite and friendly. The food was served quickly, though the café was almost empty so it’s probably just not as quick in busier times. It is quite small inside so it could probably get quite crowded at times. I opted for lasagne which was served with a slice of garlic bread, coleslaw and salad. My husband went for a steak sandwich, also served with coleslaw and salad. We also got a bucket of chips to share. The food was filling and quite tasty, although not anything super special. I would like to return to try their breakfasts sometime, and also to try the tasty looking ice-cream. The café also holds special clubs at certain times/days, like a mother and toddler’s group, a senior citizens dinner day, and can even be hired out for events or functions.
