Beaverbrooks The Jewellers

I’ve got some lovely stuff from Beaverbrooks over the years. What I like most about them is that they sell jewellery to fit most budgets. I mean, back when I was in uni (therefore poor!), my friends and I were normally able to find something when it came to birthdays and whatnot.
Equally though, you can find expensive watches from the likes of Rolex, as well as the all-​important engagement and wedding rings.
The service is always really personal without being overbearing, which is totally perfect for jewellery shops.

We made the happy trip here to buy my engagement ring. Well, I was happy throughout, my husband became increasingly hot under the collar as I began to choose larger and more expensive rings on — well, a girl has to try, hasn’t she? As soon as you come in, the staff are attentive and polite, and you are offered a cup of tea or coffee and some biscuits which I think is a lovely touch, when you consider that you are making a big decision when you are there, and you should not feel rushed but looked after and allowed to make a choice in a calm easy atmosphere. The girl who helped us was SO obliging and patient, and gave very good, informed advice on the 3 C’s — all the things you need to know about diamonds. They were a wonderful choice for this piece of jewellery and I left a happy woman… not sure my husband could say the same…
