We had an amazing time here all profits go to charity making it worth every penny. There is also a nice picnic area and a must for any little people that like trains. There was an autistic group there who where having a great time as there was loads to keep them occupied. The church across the road have a free car park little bonus!

Took my 8&4 year old here and we all enjoyed it. There is so much detail gone into the models and my youngest loved the mini trains going by. It’s defintely a break from the norm coming here. It doesn’t take long to go around it, but we made a good half day here as we took a picnic. The play area is really for under 5’s as my 8 year old wasn’t that interested in playing in there, he soon found some children his age to play tag with though! The train ride was sweet, it cost a £1.00 each. Prices were £9.00 adult £5.50 child. Bit pricey for adult but as all the profit goes to charity you dont mind paying as much. In addition, if you look on web you can get a discount voucher that entitles a child in free. Car park is free and just across the road. We only had drinks and lollies from the café and they were not that expensive, £1 for bottle of water and £1 for a twister. It was very clean there as well. If you really don’t need to take a buggy, I’d leave it behind as there’s not much room to get around with it, especially if it’s busy.

This is the 2nd best Model Village we have been to. It has the best train models combined with water theme and some buildings. Clean and inviting. Fun to explore. It can be seen in half a day or less but is still a great attraction to visit over and over again. There is parking nearby but as it is a stones throw from the train station you could visit easily by public transport. Fair prices too.

This is a great day out not just for the kids but adults will love some of the detail in the shops and the names of all the places. The food on site is well priced and healthy plus lots of seats plus a play area for under 8’s. Great miniture railway all around plus a new train ride for everybody. If you have not been to the area before then you should also go to the old part of this town, nice places to eat and some proper english pubs also Entry price was OK at £8 for adults and £4.5 for kids. £22 for familly also. All in All great day out

A great day out for children and adults alike, Bekonscot is a real sight to behold. There is so much to see and everything has been lovingly crafted with such wonderful attention to detail that its astounding. The village is updated regularly to avoid decay and to introduce some modern aspects, although the majority of it is still like looking at a snapshot of history. The zoo is especially interesting, and the trains will keep children amused for hours! As a previous reviewer has said, the village isn’t that large(it is, after all, in the middle of a residential area) and so doesn’t take a very long time to travel round — however it’s best to go round at least twice as there are always things that you miss. There is a café and a children’s play area, so it’s best to allow a couple of hours for the entire experience. Well worth it, though!

A great place to go with kids. They love feeling like a giant and peering into the exquisite little houses with their perfectly preened gardens. The best part for them seems to be the miniature trains that traverse the model village. There always seemed to be a group of kids looking out for the next one and pointing. There’s also a small train you can take a short ride on around the village — fun for the kids. Doesn’t take long to go around. Afterwards there is a place to get food but only rather unhealthy unappetising snacks like pizza slices and cornish pasties. There is also a kids playground.

Really fun day with my toddler. He loved the trains that went all the way around and also the fun fair. The boats and fish also kept him amused. It doesn’t really take long to look around but kept the little one amused. Quite easy to get there either by car or train. Really close to train station. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely day out if you have younger children, as they would feel like a giant in this little model town. Unfortunatley, it doesn’t take long to look around. Say 2 hours at most. ½ hour at earliest.
