I’ve just had a duffel coat dry cleaned here with very disappointing results. Despite instructions on the label, the horn toggles and leather straps had all the colour leached out of them and are now dry and cracked. The person in the shop offered me no help or suggestions and didn’t have any knowledge about how to restore my (expensive!) coat. She also claimed that the company they send their clothes away to are independent and that they «usually» follow requests to cover delicate buttons, etc, but otherwise didn’t seem too bothered, and insinuated that ruining the leather trimmings of garments was normal.
Unfortunately I have to give at least one star — would not recommend at all.
