Another estate pub. Could do with a refurbishment, a bit tiered looking. Full of regulars, try’s to be everything to everyone but I am not sure they achieve any of there goals. At least the glass was clean and the bar person was polite.

This place is about as busy as Bobby Davro’s agent. Every regular looks like they could be a relative of either Grant or Phil Mitchell sporting a variation of the following tattoo’s * skull with a dagger * eagle with a dagger held in its foot. * an eagle mounted by a skeleton recklessly wielding a dagger. If you get past the regulars who are defiantly national front, and make it into the pub. Your be fondly greeted by the warm scent of piss that I can only describe as stinging the nostrils like eating a table spoon of horseradish.

Modern large pub, but the bar is only on one side. Lots of windows to let the light in, but when they have the big screen down, the blinds come down and it gets very dark. No real ale that I could see. There are two seating areas outside, both on concrete and close to the road. The locals were very loud when I was there, but it was a Friday afternoon at 4pm, it may be quieter other times, though they do have DJ’s, Karaōke and live groups, so it may be just as loud. The pub are the proud sponsors of Winston Old Boys FC, if that means anything to anyone.
