Child unfriendly! The Barmaid is obnoxious and rude. She managed to insult me and upset my 3yr old son in the time it took to pull a pint. Then she had the cheek to insist I pay for the pint even though I decided to leave and drink somewhere else a bit friendlier. I paid for the pint and left it on the bar top untouched. That’s the last £3.10 they’ll see of mine. I will never return.

I can personally recommend the food in this place. Staff are friendly and polite & the service good. The surroundings are clean and there is a lovely garden. I’m told they sell a very good pint!
