Great little shop, recently taken over by a very friendly couple, Richard and Pauline — Pauline is into art and crafts, so among the nails and hammers, key cutting etc you will find highly decorated terracotta plant pots with little animals on them — really pretty!
Richard is great when it comes to knowing what you need for particular jobs — especially if you are female and don’t actually know what you need like me! He is also pretty good at cutting keys to get you back into your house when you lose your keys, ahem!
They sell nails, hammers, plumbing supplies, glue, gardening gloves, Dyson vacuums (?) mops an buckets etc — all the usual hardware stuff — however it is like a shop of little treasures as the limited floor and wall space is absolutely packed with interesting things — well to me they are interesting anyway — but then again my husband says that because i’m only ’ a girl’!
