Bugle Horn, food & service excellent! I’ve tried all the pub/restaurants in the area. TableTable on Bicester Road are also good, but charge for every little extra, and the portions are smaller. Bugle Horn offers good meals at a decent price. I have a meal at the Bugle Horn at least twice a month they never fail to impress me Good cooked food with fresh veg Top marks to the team at the Bugle Horn!!!

Dire. Seafood platter was defrosted prawns with some mackerel pâté. Roast dinner was the stuff of nightmares. Nice garden in summer, cold beer, that’s all. Why is it busy? No idea.

One star is over generous. We tried this place for Sunday lunch and were served the worst sunday roast we have ever had. Brake brothers pre-pack food at its worst and dire beyond words.

The Bugle is the closest pub to where i live but is more of a resaurant. The food isnt very expensive and the last time i ate in there just before Xmas it was very nice. In the summer they have a big garden that you can sit and eat or have a drink in.

This is a traditional style pub, which is opposite Hartwell House. It does nice food which is reasonably priced. It is a great place to go to in the summer as it has a large garden to sit out in. It does get quite busy, but we always seem to be able to get a table!

This is a very hidden away gastro type pub that is located on the outskirts of Aylesbury along the Oxford Road in Hartwell. With its old world charm it is a great place to go to relax with a drink or two on a cold winter’s night because they do have a great roaring log fire on the go most evenings. The place is also divided up into little alcoves which is great when you want to have a quiet dinner with your partner. They are renowned locally for having a good selection of beers with a few real ales as well. Food wise, they do have a great menu to choose from at prices to suit every pocket.
