Cheap but most certainly not cheerful.
We arrived for a late lunch and the restaurant wasn’t that full. Ordered a chilli and two coffees with cake. The coffee was made with instant stuff — even though they had the facilities to make a proper cup. The cake only came (about 50 cm from the counter to our table) when we asked for them to come WITH the coffee. My chilli took a whole 45 minutes to come. Worst of all they didn’t warn us that the food would take so long. That said, and ignoring the instant coffee, the food was pretty wholesome but at that point I would have eaten a whole uncooked horse. Probably won’t be going back.

Old fashioned, traditional café. Probably one of the best all day breakfasts you will find as well as the usual staples, lasagne, Sunday roasts, milk shakes and pretty much chips with everything. A nice treat, kids love it, clean as a whistle and efficient service regardless of how busy it is.
