Caffe Nero Group

This is a little haven in the designer outlet. My usual tipple is the skinny latte with only one shot of coffee (I do have to drive after all!) The coffee is strawng! But just one shot (rather than two) seems to give it a slightly milder taste that I love.
There is almost always a good seat (but the best sofa seat in the window on the right is ALWAYS taken!) I have only once managed to bag it, and that involved a dirty underhand trick that I am still ashamed of.
There is free cold tap water available for all and a handy loyalty card that gives you a free coffee once you have bought ten. (although after ten normal lattes here I probably would not sleep for a month).
The place is light and airy, with a good atmosphere and very sweet staff. What more could you as for? Well, i can answer that — decent loos! The lavatories here are dire with a capital D.I.R.E! They are unisex, smelly, old and not too fresh. To top it all off, the hand soap makes your hands smell like you have been at a rendering plant. They lose TWO points for these atrocious facilities, they really are that bad.
Do yourself a favour and visit the little girls’ or boys’ rooms a few doors down in the outlet loos before coming in here and pretending the Café Nero bogs don’t exist!
Oh ps. there is free WiFi through the cloud here — and although you have to give an email address to access it, any one will do. (I usually make one up!)
