When I’m home my husband and I love to grab a Chinese here! The sauces are tasty and the fried goods are particularly great. My only quibble is that they make certain dishes a specific way, for example battering beef that isn’t always battered, which confused me at first. Also, typical takeout issue of no original, home-​made puddings. But we do love our takeouts from here and they are literally the only Chinese in a large area, so they must be doing something right!

We holiday at the nearby Sandybrook Country Park and if we are cooking ourselves we usually order a take-​away from here, although we have on occasion dined here also. The menu is large a varied and provides all the usual chinese options with a few added extras specific to the Dragons Nest. In all our visits we have never once been disappointed with either the quality or the portions provided. The only downside for me is the cost as it tends to be a little more pricier than other places, especially on the take-​away option, however, when you are on holiday you tend to let these things go. The staff are always pleasant and inside always clean and tidy.
