Red Neds is quite possibly the best bar in Armagh. It’s a busy, vibrant bar with live music playing on a Saturday night. There’s a great range of craft beers on offer, as well as a large selection of spirits and some decent wines. Arrive early if you want a seat though — it can be extremely busy over the weekend.

situated a short roll down the hill from my wife’s old house, red neds was one of the first pubs in the uk that i set foot in. a warm and friendly atmosphere, fantastic staff, and the owner, malachi (who should be and example to other landlords out there on how to take care of business) make this an exceptional place to tip back a few. you’ll get no gawdy disco or dizzying assortment of horrible cocktails here… just a good, good time.
