ahhhh Toys R Us! Now this might surprise long term readers of my reviews that this isn’t the name of some new craft beer bar or some hipster coffee joint. It is in fact for the usual retail park staple that is a treasure trove of toys and still gets me excited looking amongst the Marvel action figures and huge lego playsets that I can’t believe cost so much! Well the reason I’m writing this review is for 2 good reasons. 1. I went there on Saturday and received excellent service from the Babies R Us staff. The girl who served us was incredibly friendly, knowledgable and was able to spare plenty of time to answer our questions on a range of items from baby hoppers to high chairs. Sometimes you go to these sorts of stores and the staff can’t wait to get you out of the door — this was a different experience which makes me want to recommend this particular branch if you’re needing to shop for baby toys. 2. Dryathlon(no alcohol in January) is killing me and I’m now resorting to building my Unilocal bookmark list for what is looking like a really busy Feb when I can enter bars and casually order whatever I want. Until then, the highlight of my Saturday’s probably will be going toy shopping and chatting with friendly staff! Loads of parking onsite, so if it’s a big item you’re after then just pull up and load it into the car!
