Once a complete coffee snob, it breaks a little piece of my heart when I visit a chain. I’m back again for my second visit in 4 days after confirming my suspicion that this Costa is the best café you can find in walking distance (and I’ve been happy to walk across cities for a good café).
The coffee is good. The food is good. It’s good that they have wifi, and it’s good that service is fast and friendly.
My favourite cafes all have more personality, but Costa does what they set out to do, and they do it well. they’re my favourite coffee chain, put it that way.
Oh, and their new autumn treats are alluring. Too alluring.
I’ll be back again soon, I’m fairly certain

I have been to this tea shop before but was disappointed to see a drop in standards. I asked for something and they gave me something else. That happens due to either poor care and attention to detail or plain tiredness. Either way I am not very impressed. Will go back to Starbucks or one of the local unbranded teashops, I think.
