This shop is one of those independently owned treasures and the perfect place for real foodies. The staff are always really helpful and have an amazing knowledge of all the food they sell. One of the best things for me is the top of the range sandwiches which are made to order with the finest ingredients and at very reasonable price for this quality of food.
I feel that it is businesses like this that make Abingdon an amazing place to shop.

Absolutely brilliant shop filled with some of the most lush stuff anywhere. One of the best features of this shop, though, is the wheat-​free products they have. I brought some ginger biscuits that husband ate all of without realising they were wheat-​free they were so good.
The staff are great help as well. No matter what you need, they are great at helping find it or an alternative. They are perfect if you are having a dinner party and need a unique dessert you can make or is you need something pre-​made.
Use them instead of the supermarket and taste what really high quality food tastes like.

Added Ingredients is a delicatessan with a lovely collection of goods that will be of real interest to foodies. It’s a real Aladdin’s cave, with treats everywhere. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they cater events too — so if you need some super sandwiches for that big office meeting then it’s worth giving them a call.
They also sell lots of kitchen gadgets, and there are 3 café tables if you want to sit and have coffee and cake, or a light lunch.
